This is a math stratergy a group of room 9 students learnt.
For example...
632, 579 six hundred and thirty two thousand, five hundred and seventy nine. We had to add one that would equal 632, 580 because you add one to the nine at the end 9+1 = 10 and that's an OVERLOAD!!!! So you have to add one in the tens 80!!!
Another example. 834, 999 +1 equals 835,000
For example...
